Welcome to the My House website. Our names are Sam and Beth Meier, and our marriage was nearly destroyed by pornography in 2004. Through the hope and mercy of Jesus Christ, we found recovery and healing that has rebuilt our marriage.  Click here to watch a video with our story, which was shown in 2007 during Mass at churches throughout the Diocese of Colorado Springs (parents were given the option to take their children out of Mass during this video).

We are grateful for the courage of Archbishop Naumann and our coworkers at the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas for helping to create one of the first practical programs in the Catholic Church that confronts pornography. We are also thankful to the men and women that have come forward for healing and support, and there are 21 men that have broken free from pornography for over 1 year through the My House Recovery groups. This site has been devoted to protecting families and marriages from pornography, while inviting people to a new vision of love and intimacy.

The My House Video on the right, has been shown in nearly all of the 110 churches in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas during Mass (parents were given the option to take their children out of Mass during this video). The video contains a real testimony from a very brave man, and inspiring messages to take back our homes for Christ. Whether you are looking for practical ways to protect your family from pornography, ways to grow in your own sexual integrity, or a new vision of love and sexual intimacy, we thank you for visiting this site.

We pray that the information on this site will continue to spread to other families, churches, and individuals. The My House Video and the My House Manual were sent to every U.S. archdiocese and diocese in 2007, and five other dioceses have adapted the program. Though the silence and shame from pornography is isolating millions of people, the practical information in this site along with Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body are giving hope to many.
